1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Captai, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the application. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.

2. User Accounts and Eligibility

To use certain features of Captai, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Account Security: Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
• Accuracy: Providing accurate and complete information during registration.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Captai offers premium features through subscription models managed via Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring cycle (monthly or annually).
• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds: All billing is handled by the respective App Stores. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google support.

4. User Content and Ownership

You retain all rights to the media (videos/audio) and generated transcripts processed through Captai:

• Your Ownership: We claim no ownership over the content you upload or the text our AI generates for you.
• License for Processing: You grant us a temporary, technical license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., generating captions). As per our Privacy Policy, this data is purged after processing.

5. AI Service Disclaimer

While we use industry-leading AI models (like OpenAI) to provide high-quality transcriptions:

• Accuracy: AI-generated text may contain errors. Captai does not guarantee 100% accuracy and is not responsible for any misunderstandings or damages resulting from transcription errors.
• Modifications: Users are encouraged to review and edit all captions before final export or publication.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Captai for any unlawful purposes, including but not limited to:

• Uploading content that infringes on third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Processing illegal, harmful, or prohibited materials as defined by international law.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the app's infrastructure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Captai and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Captai immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms and Conditions. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
